Quality Assurance Lead (SAP)

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for establishing, managing, and leading end -to -end Quality Assurance (QA) practices across a large -scale SAP landscape. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including additional system enhancements. The successful candidate will provide QA delivery leadership, governance, and assurance across all project phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the set -up, preparation, and execution of Quality Assurance activities across SAP projects.
  

• Define and implement QA frameworks, standards, and methodologies aligned to SAP best practices.
  

• Conduct and facilitate quality gate reviews at key project milestones.
  

• Provide QA delivery leadership, ensuring quality objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed quality, scope, and performance standards.
  

• Identify risks, defects, and quality gaps, and drive corrective actions.
  

• Collaborate closely with technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
  

• Support governance and reporting structures to provide visibility into quality status and outcomes.
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance roles, with senior -level responsibility.
  

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant SAP -related qualification.
  

• Proven experience establishing and managing QA frameworks and quality gates.
  

• Strong experience providing QA leadership on complex SAP delivery projects.
  

• Solid understanding of SAP project life cycles and delivery methodologies.
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrades.
  

• Public Sector experience.
  

• Candidates based in Cape Town.
  

• Experience working on large -scale, enterprise SAP programmes.
