Freelance Bookkeepers

This is ideal for professionals who are self-employed or operate their own bookkeeping business and are comfortable working with local clients as well as clients across the USA, UK, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
  

• Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
  

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
  

• Support client accountants and finance managers with documentation and reporting
  

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP as applicable)
  

• Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite
  

• Communicate regularly with international clients and respond to queries promptly
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles
  

• Demonstrated ability to support clients in international markets (USA, UK, EU)
  

• Solid understanding of international bookkeeping/accounting requirements
  

• Proficiency in relevant accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.)
  

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  

• Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications preferred (e.g. ICB, AAT, NDip, BCom)
  

• Own laptop and stable connection
