Job Description - Test Analyst

About our client:

Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative, sustainable, inclusive culture and performance.

What you will be doing:

Developing and maintaining detailed test artifacts (plans, scenarios, and scripts) for each target application, including negative test cases and bespoke deprovisioning logic.
Coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the application landscape, enabling multiple test cycles to run in parallel. Clarify capacity expectations for concurrent execution where feasible.
Validating end-to-end user-access workflows, covering requests, approvals, email notifications, and attestations.
Verifying application-specific deprovisioning logic to ensure correct revocation behavior (e.g., Coupa bespoke removal rules).
Ensuring comprehensive coverage for employee, non-employee, and service accounts, including technical/service identities.
Managing the defect lifecycle, encompassing triage, root-cause analysis, prioritization, retesting, and formal sign-off.
Producing and maintaining test documentation, metrics, and exit reports for audit and regulatory purposes.
Collaborating with program leadership to sequence releases (database-first vs. application-level) and support go-live readiness.

What our client is looking for:

A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.)
ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or Test Manager would be beneficial.
5+ years of software testing experience.
Proven expertise in testing enterprise integration projects.
In-depth knowledge of user provisioning/deprovisioning, RBAC, attestations, and segregation-of-duties principles.
Hands-on experience testing integrations via API, CSV, SQL-view, and PowerShell.
Advanced SQL and data-analysis skills for validation and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills across both business and technical teams.
