ACCOUNTANT Our client is seeking to employ the services if an accountant in the Durbanville area. RESPONSIBILITIES: To document financial transactions in the General Ledger system Accounts payable (i.e. processing invoices, payments and reconciliation of accounts etc.) Accounts receivable (i.e. distribution of statements, following up on outstanding invoices, processing remittances, reconciliations etc Cash flow management function and processing (i.e. bank, petty cash and cash flow forecasts); Payroll (Processing, reconciliations, etc.) Manage all tax related matters i.e. VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc; Preparation of management reports, financial statements and other financial related reports and correspondence Resolution of finance related queries; To maintain financial security by following internal controls Maintenance of internal systems and client files (electronic and hard copies) Stay up to date and comply with latest legislation SKILLS: Knowledgeable in International Accounting Practices & Procedures; Knowledgeable in the budgeting process; Knowledgeable in management reporting Knowledgeable in Internal Controls and Accounting Standards Ability to work in cross-cultural settings Team player, Motivating, Analytical skills, Communication & Interpersonal skills, Strong Leadership skills Knowledge of all MS Office applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to perform duties with limited supervision Deadline orientated with attention to detail Hands-on, proactive approach Knowledge of accounting software Knowledge of payroll software SALARY: R25 000 per month Should you fit the profile kindly forward your CV to Should you not receive any feedback within two weeks of you application, please assume unsuccessful
