Job Description - Affiliate Account Manager

Consumer Product As custodians of each brands websites, the Consumer Product team, analyses website data to constantly improve the experience of each and every visitor. In addition, we craft and implement exciting new offers specifically for new customers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) The SEO team maintains the brand websites, ensuring that they rank higher in search results. This includes targeting top results in 8 different search engines in 20 different countries. Creative The creative team consists of copywriters and digital multimedia designers. We create marketing content in 11 different languages for a wide variety of platforms. Retention The Retention team focuses on retaining current customers to ensure that they continuing to purchase with our brands. This includes increasing profitability and retaining and growing our customer base across a multitude of global regions. Software Development The Software Development department is a cross-skilled team that targets multiple devices and platforms, making use of various technologies and languages.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Affiliate Account Manager will be required to source and recruit qualified affiliates and partners for the Betway Partners Affiliate Program, promoting the Betway Brand in Africa. The Affiliate Account Manager will need to manage and grow the on-going relationship with these partners to deliver on aggressive new account and delivery goals in various channels. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: Develop commercial relationships with potential acquisition partners, including affiliates and media groups. Retention and activation of the dormant base of affiliates. Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with all partners for optimal delivery. Analysis of campaigns, reporting on ROI and developing strategies to improve it. Growing and maintaining strong relationships with affiliates through regular communication. Provide daily feedback to line manager on existing deals and future deals. Monthly reporting back to team and line manager on account performance. Plan and organize promotions that encourage affiliates and partners to generate acquisitions. Manage earnings models and help resolve any affiliate issues/concerns/request. Coordination of back-end fulfilment with other departments, including Fraud Operations and Creative. Keep aligned on Country and Product developments. Drive innovation through new and existing channels. Networking and attendance at international conferences, if opportunity becomes available. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Relevant tertiary qualification or qualified experience. Minimum 3 years client facing experience, whether in sales and/or account management. Experience within Affiliate Account Management and Affiliate Marketing. Experience in banner advertising, SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, social media, mobile marketing and e-commerce business development Demonstrated understanding of online metrics including key concepts such as CPA, CPM, ROI, effective revenue share etc. Demonstrated sports enthusiasm, knowledge and interest across various Sports and Casino categories. Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level and manage a high level of complexity. Innovation combined with excellent business acumen, to identify or develop viable online marketing strategies. Proven ability to collaborate and work across business divisions. Team player who can work well in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial-minded. Strong work ethic and target driven. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent communication skills. Strong negotiation and analytical skills proving highly numerate.
