Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant

An established accounting firm in Illovo, Sandton is looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant, with experience in an Accounting Firm to become part of their finance team. 

Responsibilities:

• Practical knowledge of accounting, management reporting, and the Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act
• Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
• Preparation of Financial Statements 
• Prepare and maintain financial reports
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years accounting experience, within an Accounting Firm environment 
• Caseware and Xero experience 
• Driver's License and Own Vehicle
