Job Description - Estimator

  • Maintain and update product rates (price lists - monthly)
  • Check client account status prior to processing and approve orders for processing
  • Attend tenders briefings and site inspections
  • Source prices (raw materials / transport)
  • Prepare quotations for potential and current clients
  • Track volumes (quoted vs. orders received)
  • Analyze labour, material, and time requirements for a project
  • Preparing of project certificates for invoicing. (rates, quantities, etc.)
  • Attend to and deal with queries

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • National Diploma in Quantity Surveying
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysis
