Are you a skilled financial professional seeking a temporary opportunity to showcase your expertise? Look no further! Our dynamic company is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to provide maternity cover for a 6-month period. As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial health of our organization. Starting in May 2024, looking for immediately available candidates!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to provide accurate insights into our financial performance.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance , or related field.
• SAIPA / SAICA articles preferred.
• Previous experience in a financial accounting role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
