Inhouse Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Well established recycling business is seeking an In-house Accountant to perform the following:

• Prepare on a monthly basis all taxes and VAT and provisional taxes for 7 companies
• Handle all SARS queries
• Prepare Monthly Management accounts
• Oversee Bookkeepers and admin staff
• Reconcile of invoices
• Provisioning of monthly costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
• Remain up to date with IFRS requirements
• Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
• Ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
• Accounting package ideally Omni will be an advantage
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Must have own vehicle
• Degree is essential
