Responsibilities
• Prepare accounting entries and reports for committee(s) • Verify inventory for beverages, food, supplies, etc. • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and prepare depreciation schedules • Assist with member account transfers, monthly invoicing, and queries • Prepare and submit insurance claims • Oversee membership billing, collections, and annual renewal process • Prepare monthly ledger reconciliations and financial forecasts • Perform scrutiny of accounting records and monthly financials • Perform spot checks on point of sale departments • Implement and update Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role • Proven experience in an accounting/financial environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in using accounting principles, software, and MS Office • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Deadline driven • Work well under pressure
