Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This candidate will assist in maintaining our financial records, and performing various accounting tasks to support the smooth operation of the finance team. The role requires sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, post them in the general ledger, and reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support the accounts payable process and accurately allocate transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Assist with the examination of expenses, intercompany transactions, monthly comparisons, and reconciliations.
• Interact with external auditors during audits and provide necessary information for the annual audit.
• Assist in managing the stock accounting process.
• Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure that costs are accurately recorded and fully accounted for.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
