How you'll role

The marketing account manager will be responsible for the management of clients and stakeholders.

You are a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good design. This position works with multi-disciplinary teams on various corporate communications briefs. You will experience the innovation process of projects in many different mediums, and it is your responsibility to communicate ideas to clients and stakeholders ensuring briefs are translated by the design team for the client. You must have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, with the possibility of working after hours. You will be involved in all phases of each project – from initial concept through to completion. You must have an interest in visual communication and be comfortable working solo “in the zone” as well as in a brainstorming group or creative session.

 

What you'll do

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects
  • Work with the Account Director to run projects as briefed by clients
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Attend weekly status meetings
  • Maintain effective communications and relationships between clients and internal team members by providing continuous updates on project statuses
  • Communicate with client to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Collaborate and manage external stakeholders as required per project
  • Present concepts to clients

Project Management:

  • Understand project requirements and objectives, develop plans and timelines to ensure successful execution and delivery
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete the task
  • Brief internal teams and partners and have regular status check in with them to ensure the project remains on track with the clients timelines
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Create and manages projects within the chosen Project Management tool
  • Work with the Creative Director to optimise workload and assignments across the Creative Team
  • Traffic all creative projects
  • Manage project execution and timelines from creative inception to final delivery
  • Manage the campaign review process
  • Ensure clients brand guidelines and tone are adhered to
  • Lead team meetings on project progress
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development

Creative Management:

  • Review and manage the work presented by the internal team
  • Monitor the change and quality of creative output from the Creative Teams
  • Work with the creative team to develop the most appropriate and effective materials to meet the client objectives

Proposals:

  • Assist the Creative Director / Account Director with generating costings and quotes for projects
  • Assist with creative concept and strategy for campaign proposals
  • Where applicable, assist with the development of presentations for proposals
  • Where appropriate, assist with the design of proposal elements such as mockups

Reporting:

  • Generate progress reports for clients
  • Generate monthly reports for stakeholders

Creative Conceptualisation and Strategy:

  • Work with the team and Creative Director to develop creative concepts and strategies for creative briefs, campaigns and proposals

Creative Copywriting:

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop copy for creative execution
  • Write original copy and edit content for internal communication pieces
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed

Social Media Copywriting:

  • Create copy for banners and social media posts
  • Source images and other content for social media posts
  • Where applicable, create LinkedIn captions for clients as required

Content Scheduling:

  • Using social media marketing tools, schedule and manage the posting of client social media calendars
  • Post social media posts to LT/C Suite clients personal pages

Content Creation:

  • Generate social media posts
  • Generate posts and calendars in conjunction with copywriters for clients
  • Generate posts for LT/C Suite clients personal pages

Social Media Monitoring:

  • Where appropriate, monitor client’s LinkedIn pages
  • Where appropriate, remove and/or report objectionable comments from client accounts on social media platforms

Other:

  • Collaborating with co-workers, partners and suppliers
  • Various other adhoc duties as assigned

 

What you'll need

  • Bachelors Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, or related field
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience working in a creative atmosphere
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a Project / Account Manager
  • Must have a working knowledge of and MAC operating systems, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft office, Dropbox & G-suite
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff, partners and suppliers
  • Must possess good communication skills
