Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and independent Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Standard Bank Group in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. This is an entry-level position with a full-time job type, perfect for individuals looking to start their career in finance.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues - Assist with audit requests related to accounts payable - Perform other accounting tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements: - No years of experience required, entry-level position - Dedicated and independent work ethic - Strong strategic planning and time management skills - Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
