Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Mondi Group is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. As a full-time employee at the Associate Level, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes remotely. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and possess a high level of energy and adaptability.

Responsibilities: - Process and approve invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Monitor accounts payable aging reports and manage outstanding balances - Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts payable - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with company policies - Provide support for audits and respond to inquiries from auditors - Assist with ad-hoc projects related to accounts payable as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 4+ years of experience in accounts payable - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Energetic and adaptable personality traits - Soft skills in adaptability and project management
