Accounts Payable - Work from home

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at Pick n Pay Stores. This is a full-time position that can be done remotely from your home in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and possess a high level of energy and independence.

Responsibilities: - Process all invoices received for payment in an accurate and timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable - Communicate with vendors to address any payment issues or inquiries - Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting - Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or relevant field - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Energetic personality and ability to work independently
