RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced and qualified ACCOUNTANT  for a well-established, growing concern, position based in the Kokstad area, Kwazulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Accounting Degree qualification. Qualified SAIPA Professional Accountant. Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle. Person must be able to speak, read and write in English. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Pastel Accounting (Sage Pastel 50, Sage One, Xero Accounting, QuickBooks online) ESSENTIAL! 4-7yrs previous working experience as a Professional Accountant. Managerial position over trainee accountants and office work flow, overseeing processing of data completed by staff. Must have a good understanding of Year-end processes, annual working papers and journals. Must be able to handle meetings with clients in order to ensure great services are provided and that all deadlines are met as requested by the practice''''s clients. Draft and preparation of annual financial statements for individuals, trusts, companies and close corporations. Completion and submission of annual tax return to SARS. SARS Efiling duties including tax affairs and planning for clients - like income tax and provisional tax calculations. Payroll administration duties for clients as well as SARS Easyfile EMP501 reconciliations. General ledger reconciliations and assisting with trainee accountant training. Draft of management statements as well as cash flow forecast planning for clients. Keeping accurate records. Maintaining Fixed Asset Registers for clients. Registration of entities and other statutory registrations. Completion and submission of annual workmen’s compensation returns for clients. Other administrative tasks and Professional Accountant (SA) duties.
