Accounts Administrator

Our client, a shipping agent, is hiring an Accounts Administrator in Umhlanga with a salary range of R 18,000 to R 20,000 per month plus medical, pension, and 13th cheque. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom degree and have 2-4 years of experience in a similar position. Responsibilities will include following up on queries with service providers and/or clients, VAT & PAYE, daily banking including bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors book reconciliation of SOAs, liaising with the bank to investigate reconciling items, ensuring entries for key accounts are processed correctly on a monthly basis, calculating shareholders loans, insurance, prepaid expenses, processing relevant entries on in-house Accounting Software, and asset register maintenance including booking of depreciation entries. The position requires strong mathematical abilities, analytical skills, and good communication. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work under pressure.
