We have a position available for a Administration Clerk III to ensure that all financial transactions, booking activities and accounting are properly recorded (Debtors, Creditors & Petty cash) as well as to ensure that accounting standards and financial reporting requirements are complied with.Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information. |
Minimum Requirements | • Grade 12 or equivalent • 2-3 Years experience in the administration field • General transport background highly advantageous • Experience or exposure to technical aspects in the Transport Environment would be an advantage • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem solving abilities • Able to work under pressure • Deadline orientated • Reliable and dependable • Must be proactive and able to use own initiative • Must have own transport |
Duties & Responsibilities | • Processing and review of receivables, payables, petty cash, wages, petty cash, Journals, fleet management, adhoc payments • Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness • Submission of accurate forecasts regarding expenses and revenue • Ensure accurate calculation of wage related expenses and benefits • Supervise and manage admin staff • Communicate with all levels of stakeholders • Preparation of revenue schedules • verify trial balance transaction • Depot audit control reporting • Management & capture fuel transaction • Balance back all fuel on schedule and split to individual fleets on month end • Balance back all kilometres schedule and accrual schedules for month end • Balance sheet reconciliations • Subcontractor reconciliations and compliance • Tax and Stat pack schedule/year end schedules |
