Business and Project Manager, People & Culture, BCB
Job Overview
Business Segment: Business and Commercial Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
This position is a hybrid role combining elements of a People & Culture Business Manager and Project Manager. The purpose of the role is to provide day to day support to the Head, People & Culture, Business & Commercial Banking (BCB), in organising, establishing and refining the day-to-day operations within the BCB, People & Culture portfolio to operate within its required performance parameters. The successful incumbent will work with the Head, People & Culture, Business & Commercial Banking to focus on strategic and operational issues and decisions to enable BCB to deliver its strategic objectives.
In addition to the above, the incumbent will manage a portfolio of segment wide projects that deliver People & Culture Business solutions whilst engaging with and leading cross-functional teams to deliver the P&C agenda.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Degree in Human Resources Management / Business Commerce / Project Management
Experience required
• 10 years or more experience in People & Culture, with at least 5 years exposure to project management
• Experience in providing support to a business unit across multiple disciplines and geographies
• Experience in partnering with P&C colleagues (Head Office and Countries), P&C COEs and business, taking a commercial approach, using data & insights.
• Experience within a multinational company working with and influencing senior management teams on People & Culture matters in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of the role People & Culture management plays in enabling business commercial & social relevance, whilst remaining relevant to the people within the business.
• Track record of successfully implementing integrated, effective People & Culture solutions in support of business specific objectives & driving for a sustainable performance in the businesses.
