Job Description - Cleaner

RESPONSIBILITES:

To provide a professional, efficient and effective cleaning service that enhances the appearance of the facility that supports a healthy environment;
Clean designated facility areas (dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, restroom cleaning, etc.);
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs;
Cooperate with the rest of the staff;
Follow all health and safety regulations;
Assist with Ad Hoc duties as required;
Ensure there is sufficient staff refreshments for allocated departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12;
Proven working experience as a cleaner will be an advantage;
Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies;
Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets;
Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices;
Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required.
