To perform administrative, word processing and general liaison support functions for the Deputy Head. |
Key Responsibility Areas | Undertakes word processing, secretarial and administrative functions. Drafts correspondence of a routine and non-technical nature. Undertakes fast and accurate typing. Co-ordinates the diaries and appointments utilising the network programmes. Prepares itineraries and necessary travel and business arrangements. Undertakes minute taking. Undertakes historical research and collation of information and documentation. Transcribes from recorded dictation and undertakes shorthand note taking. Prepares statistical reports on general and financial matters. Controls and maintains the Deputy Heads private and confidential filing system. Performs a public reception and public relations function. Directs and controls telephone calls and visitor. Supervision and control of immediate subordinates. |
Essential Requirements | Matric/Grade 12 plus relevant certificate accredited by SAQA. 2 Years relevant experience. Computer Literacy. |
Preferred Requirements | Secretarial Diploma. 3 Years relevant experience |
