Financial Operations Manager

Location: Centurion

Salary: R36 000CTC

Duties:

• Implement and manage a financial control system
• Financial Management and daily processing of bank accounts, reconciliations, debtors, creditors, petty cash, fixed assets
• Ensure invoicing and collections are done timeously
• Statutory returns and compliance with SARS, CIPRO and Department of Labour
• Processing of leave, monthly travel claims, cellphone and expenses, and preparing payroll input reports
• Ensure external and legal analysts' hours and invoices are captured, checked, balanced and billed;
• Preparing management accounts, and financial statements and liaising with auditors at year-end
• Liaison with suppliers (Landlord, IT service providers, printers, office furniture, etc.)
• Running exception reports to ensure that projects, payment allocations and invoicing tie up.
• Manage the Office Administrator and Cleaner to ensure the office runs smoothly
• Travel bookings and ordering of office supplies
• Allocating projects to analysts based on loading and targets, are re-allocation when necessary
• Ensure analyst weekly planning is done before the monthly OPCO meeting, prepare, check and present the OPCO pack at the OPCO meeting
• Check project age analysis on regular basis and give feedback regarding open jobs
• Monthly checks on analysts' certificates issued and follow-up on A0 closing procedures
• Continuously develop & maintain Project Status en Incentives spreadsheets
• Managing the smooth running of IT within the company
• Maintaining up-to-date personal records for all staff and preparing monthly scorecards for performance reviews for staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bcom accounting/honours
• Between 6 and 10 years of work experience in the financial controlling/accounting field
• Have a good understanding of accounting and interpretation of financial systems and financial statements
• Experience in implementing and managing financial controls.
