Job Description - Hr Executive

JOB VACANCY : HR Executive (Board Level), Melrose, Sandton, Johannesburg (Permanent)

REPORTING TO : CEO

DIRECT REPORTS : HR & Payroll Manager, Facilities Manager, Office Manager

To provide strategic leadership and provide guidance of the organization’s human capital and

facilities functions.

they are seeking a visionary HR Executive to lead their HR function and drive organizational success.

Role Overview:

As the Strategic HR Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy and providing

leadership in a complex and dynamic sports environment. With your extensive experience in HR

leadership, including HR & payroll management, facilities management, and office administration,

you will lead the HR team with vision, insight, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement (HCM) and provide strategic leadership and direction for the HR function, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and driving organizational transformation in the sports management industry.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that promote employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness within a sports management context.
  • Drive the business strategy and implementation thereof by providing holistic HR consultation, conducting business needs analysis, and identifying opportunities for improvement within the sports management arena.
  • Oversee HR compliance and risk management specific to the sports industry, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Manage payroll processes, benefits administration, and HRIS systems tailored to the unique needs of the sports management industry.
  • Direct facilities management and office administration functions to create an environment conducive to excellence and performance within the sports management landscape.
