IT Technician (Richards Bay)

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join their team in Richards Bay. Candidate must meet all the job spec requirements. POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

● Minimum qualification, Matric
● N+ / A+ / MCSE Advantageous
● 2 - 4 years experience in a IT technician / Administrator role
● Install and Maintain Networks
● Previous experience in the retail / FMCG industries (adv)
● Strong Admin background
● Exceptional problem-solving skill.
● Thorough, precise and accurate.
● Must be able to work under pressure.
● Proficient in systems, especially in Excel / Sheets.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills
● Good customer service skills
● Must have drivers license and own vehicle
● Willing to work after hours and weekends Job Responsibilities: ● Onsite and Remote end user support for all desktop devices for the staff
situated at remote sites
● Ability to be a primary resource for IT projects at the site
● Be required to travel to remote sites to support users or complete projects
● First line support for telephony services and smartphones
● preparation and installation of end user devices such as desktops, notebooks
and head sets
● logging of all incidents and request on behalf of staff and management
● a single point of contact for the staff for any IT related issues, escalations or
IT related consulting
● skilled in the understanding applications within the environment, Networking
Infrastructure management, Server management (MS Server 2016/SQL
Server), Domain Management (DC and G Suite), Firewall Administration and
IT Procurement, Multi Level backups.
