Job Description - Junior Accountant (Administration & Team Management)

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant with Administration and Team Management responsibilities. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for assisting in financial management, performing administrative tasks, and supporting team members in their day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional who wants to gain hands-on experience in accounting, administration, and team management. Responsibilities: Accounting: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and general ledger entries. Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for review by Financial Director. Help with budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Administration: Handle general administrative tasks, including managing office internal controls, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings. Assist in coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for team members. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Maintain and update company databases and filing systems. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Team Management: Assist in coordinating and supervising the work of team members, ensuring that deadlines are met, and deliverables are of high quality. Foster a positive and productive team environment through effective communication and collaboration. Support team members in resolving issues and providing feedback to management. Contribute to performance evaluations and provide feedback on individual and team performance. Qualifications: Matric certificate Prior experience in accounting, administration, or team management is required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proactive mindset and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
