Busy upmarket Restaurant in Rosebank is looking for a Kitchen Manager. Applicants must have 5 or more years' experience in kitchen management. Must have strong general knowledge of food and of general kitchen management procedures. Main duties will include stock control, stock ordering, variances, food costing, quality control, staff management and general kitchen administration. Experience in working with POS systems essential. Looking for someone with a passion for food and who can efficiently run a busy kitchen. This is a management position and not a cooking role. Restaurant kitchen open for lunch until 12h00 am. Salary R 10 – 15 K net depending on experience. Quote Reference RA07 when applying.
