To provide administrative support to the Legal Manager/Legal Department, ensuring efficient operation through a range of tasks related to the company, Legal and Administrative procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FORMAL EDUCATION
Matric
Computer Literacy
TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION
Relevant Diploma and/or Certificate in a Paralegal and/or Legal Secretarial study preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least 8-10 years proven experience as a Legal Administrator/Secretary or similar role.
Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols.
Experience with legal document preparation and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent command of the English language.
Attention to detail.
COMPETENCIES KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
Familiarity with contract drafting and rights management

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Legal Documentation Management
Provide administrative support in preparing, typing and managing legal and other documents as
requested from time to time, while maintaining meticulous legal files.
Ensure all documentation complies with the relevant regulatory frameworks.
Provide strong administrative support in evaluating and drafting legal agreements and other documents as required.
Maintain and update the legal documentation system and database consistently.
Coordinate responses to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
Litigation & Risk Support
Assist with coordinating litigation matters as required.
Support the legal team in monitoring and reporting on potential legal risks.
Administrative Support for Tenders
Assist in the compilation and submission of tender documents.
Provide administrative support in contract management and monitor contractual compliance.
Legal Reporting
Assist in ensuring that Legal reports are compiled & submitted monthly.
