Medical Receptionist

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a medical practice
• Computer literate, preferably VeriClaim

Skills required:

Duties will include:

• Receiving of patients and opening / updating files ensuring all relevant information is correct
• Medical authorisation and confirmation of benefits
• Answering switchboard, making appointments and take messages
• Ordering of all equipment and supplies for practice
• Stock control and stock take
• Opening and managing private patient accounts and submission of medical claims to bureau
• Issuing receipts
• Coordinate and manage patient accounts and working close with bureau
• General administration, including filing and scanning
• Capturing ICD-10 codes
• PMB and chronic applications with medical aids
• Petty cash
• Filing of blood and pathology results and informing Doctor accordingly, etc 

Remuneration:

R16 000 - R20 000 per month

Working hours:

Monday to Friday
