As our new Junior Broker, you’ll be jet-setting your way through tasks that make each day exciting:

• Create and Propel New Business: Build and maintain sales channels in the thrilling aviation sector, including relationships with sub-brokers and insurance companies across Africa.
• Client Mastery: From obtaining quotations to closing deals, your role will involve high-level negotiation and strategic client management.
• Event Excitement: Attend airshows and industry events, making connections that count.
• Admin Ace: Manage annual renewals and keep our client database flying high with impeccable administration and credit control.

Who Are You? An experienced broker with a minimum of 5 years in insurance, ready to handle the unique challenges and opportunities of the aviation industry.

• Bilingual Brilliance: Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• A Social Navigator: With outstanding communication skills, you thrive in networking and client relations.
• Independently Driven: Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, you excel both solo and as part of our stellar team.

Education & Experience Required:

• RE5 Representative & Full Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4).
• 5 year working experience (Insurance).
• Short term (Personal, Commercial, Marine and/or other specialist) broking experience as internal broker.
• Managing own client base, including client visits and client’s renewals (Obtaining quotations, putting together the presentation, firming up the renewal with both the client and Insurer).
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office especially EXCEL & Word.
• Must be independent and able to work in a team.
• Dealt with professional, affluent clients.
• Experience in building and maintaining new sales channels!
• Able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
