MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To present and facilitate Higher Education and Training programmes and courses to Mediclinic students and employees in order to acquire competence (incl. cognitive, psychomotor and affective skills) as independent healthcare practitioners on completion of training.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Ensure compliance to Higher Education & Training and American Heart Association (AHA) standards Design and assess learning material and interventions Facilitate learning process, incl. theoretical and clinical facilitation Coordinate and administrate student-related processesREQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Masters degree or Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Education, Diploma in field of specialist discipline DESIRED EDUCATION: PhD in NursingREQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 years experience in a training capacity DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience in field of specialist disciplineREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and the application thereof
