POSITION: Personal Assistant (Temp)
LOCATION: Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort Job Description
Overview
As a Personal Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the CEO’s daily activities, ensuring efficient communication, and maintaining organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities:
As a Personal Assistant, your responsibilities will include: 1.Point of Contact:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients.
2.Communication Management:
  • Screen and direct phone calls.
  • Distribute correspondence promptly.
3.Administrative Tasks:
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately.
  • Manage the manager’s diary and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Take dictation and minutes during meetings.
  • Source office supplies.
  • Produce reports, presentations, and briefs.
  • Devise and maintain an organized office filing system.
Requirements and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
Proven Work Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
Organizational Skills:
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with the latest office gadgets and applications.
Education:
  • Matric
  • A PA diploma or certification would be considered an advantage.
  • Min 3 years’ experience
Additional Considerations
  • As a PA, you’ll work closely with the manager, handling sensitive information and ensuring smooth operations. Adaptability, independence, and proactive problem-solving are essential traits for success in this role
  • Able to drive a manual car.
