Job Description:
FirstRand is seeking a motivated and passionate Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in administrative roles.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to various departments within the company, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and organizing meetings. 2. Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and budget. 3. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff. 4. Maintain records and databases for efficient data management. 5. Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed. 6. Handle incoming and outgoing communication in a professional manner. 7. Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and arranging induction for new employees. 8. Assist in organizing company events and functions. 9. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. 10. Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 2. Proven experience as an Administrative Coordinator or similar role. 3. Strong organizational and time-management skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. 7. Planning and decision-making skills are essential. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Motivated and passionate about administrative responsibilities. 10. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
