Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Vodacom Group in Cape Town, Western Cape. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our business to ensure efficiency and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to improve processes and increase efficiency - Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement - Manage and lead a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication - Analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and recommendations - Oversee budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial goals are met - Identify and address any issues or risks that may impact operations - Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration - Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field - 8+ years of experience in operations management or a similar role - Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities - Resourceful and dedicated mindset - Ability to work collaboratively and foster a team-oriented environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
