Job Description - Supply Chain Administrator

Supply Chain Administrator
3-month contract - to start immediately
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Supply Chain Administrator to join the Chemicals Team, based in Durban.
Purpose of the job:
To provide an administrative support role to Chemicals Team, with focus on order management, stock control, query resolution in a cost-efficient manner & within the company guidelines
Experiential and Educational requirements:
• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification BCOM (advantage)
• Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Incoterms & Forex Knowledge
• 2-3 years related experience
• Intermediate Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) & SAP R3 Experience
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Maintenance of Customer and vendor information
• SAP processing - All steps from capturing sales order, purchase order, inbound, miro, zvso, outbound & invoicing (ensure invoicing is correct first time)
• Timeous capturing and booking of forward exchange contracts (FEC)
• Ensuring creditor payments are captured, reconciled and processed timeously
• Communication with Export country regularly
• Daily processing of customer purchase orders and submission of purchase orders to vendors
• SAP data maintenance
• Complete clearing instructions for supplier invoices
• Order expediting
• Respond to queries timeously and close off open items
• Effective & timeous email correspondence to customer and supplier
• Handle process from Request for Quotation, Preparation of our quotation and order management
• Kaizen Implementation
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth process flow of all business processes
• Training related to current job function
• Training related to future development
• Company policy to be adhered to.
• Interpersonal relationship improvement (teamwork, customer, supplier)
• Ensure 5S compliance
• Assist with divisional audit & stock counts
• First in First Out stock management and control
