Consumer Product
As custodians of each brands websites, the Consumer Product team, analyses website data to constantly improve the experience of each and every visitor. In addition, we craft and implement exciting new offers specifically for new customers.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The SEO team maintains the brand websites, ensuring that they rank higher in search results. This includes targeting top results in 8 different search engines in 20 different countries.
Creative
The creative team consists of copywriters and digital multimedia designers. We create marketing content in 11 different languages for a wide variety of platforms.
Retention
The Retention team focuses on retaining current customers to ensure that they continuing to purchase with our brands. This includes increasing profitability and retaining and growing our customer base across a multitude of global regions.
Software Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Head of Design in growing The Studio into an effective creative hub
Lead, motivate and inspire a team your direct team of copywriters.
Defining requirements for and leading the copy development of concepts with executions that are on-brief, on-brand, innovative and adheres to global best practices
Reviewing and approving copy assets of varying descriptions and complexities (e.g. social collateral, campaign assets, internal comms templates, ATL collateral, scripts, radio and TVC etc.)
Lead, develop and mentor your copy team members, creating a culture of creativity, growth, innovation and collaboration
Leading copy reviews to elevate our voice and tone making sure we communicate with a clear, branded, point of view
Ideate and brainstorm with the copy team on broader brand experiences to provide another valuable perspective
Sharing your work and providing feedback to teammates
Working with in-country teams to ensure the intention behind copy is accurately captured with local flavour.
Comfortable working in an agile work environment adapting timelines as needed
Plan, write, edit and improve copy and concepts across multiple platforms
Regular feedback to the Head of Design on your teams performance, delivery and growth plan
Work closely with the Creative and CI lead to ensure we are consistently on Brand.
Partner effectively with agency and internal teams to ensure copy solutions accurately communicate qualities consistent with the Betway brand image.
Assume responsibility for final quality and accuracy of the end product of all copy team members
Develop, maintain and clearly articulate the copy brand guidelines for all platforms [mobile, desktop, video, emails, ATL, BTL etc.)
Use performance metrics to investigate copy elements' success and use findings to improve copy solutions & guidelines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
You will be a natural communicator, leader and mentor, who delights in bringing conceptual thinking and solutions to all they do and can inspire your team to be brave and creative while maintaining administrative delivery.
A digital first and seasoned leader with a track record of creative excellence, conceptual ability, strategic thinking, and creative team management
A working knowledge of the Adobe creative suite as well as executing and evaluating creative in Microsoft applications, such as PowerPoint, word and excel.
A strong communicator who is capable of providing constructive feedback in order to keep the team delivery-focused, organized and goal-orientated.
A self-starter who takes initiative and actively works towards growing the creative capabilities and profile of the team.
At least 8 years relevant experience, with 2 years of experience as a team lead.
