A well-established fintech-orientated asset-based finance company is looking for a Bookkeeper with 5 years' experience working on Cashbook (Xero). The permanent role is full-time, office-based (Rosebank) and offers flexible start and finish times if required.
Responsibilities:
The role reports primarily to the Financial Manager
Perform daily Cashbook capturing
Perform monthly Bank reconciliation
Maintaining accurate General Ledger
Processing and reconciling debtors and creditors
Responsible for daily customer invoicing
Preparation of payment batches
Responsible for assisting with stock control and annual stock take
Petty Cash reconciliation and managing thereof
Ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date
Ensure filing is kept in order
Any ad-hoc duties that require assistance
SA Citizen
Matric
Relevant 3+ years' bookkeeping experience
Experienced on Xero Accounting and Payroll function
Experience working on a CRM
Honesty and professional integrity
Proactive with good communication, and interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure
Quick thinker with good problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
Focused, detail-orientated, and deadline-driven
Proficient working knowledge of GL & Payroll packages, MS-Office
Proficient in English and the ability to communicate effectively
Flexible working hours 8am - 5pm
Possibility to work from home from time to time once settled in
