Chat Support Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Barloworld is seeking a Chat Support Specialist to join our team remotely in Soweto, Gauteng. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through chat support channels. Your main duties will include responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer issues efficiently and accurately, and providing product information and recommendations.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner through chat support channels - Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency - Provide product information, recommendations, and assistance to customers - Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service - Accurately document customer interactions and transactions in the system - Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers - Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate department - Meet or exceed performance metrics in areas such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Dedicated and hardworking with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong research and analysis skills to effectively address customer inquiries - Experience with chat support software or CRM systems is a plus - Ability to work independently in a remote setting - A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred
