Job Description - Customer Service Representative - Remote Work

Job Description:


Absa Group Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Customer Service Representative to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This is a remote work position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and online chat. 2. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. 3. Assist customers with account maintenance, billing inquiries, and product information. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty to the brand. 6. Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively. 7. Demonstrate emotional intelligence when dealing with difficult customers or situations. 8. Meet or exceed performance goals related to customer satisfaction and response times.


Requirements: 1. 4+ years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence. 5. Dedication to providing high-quality service to customers. 6. Resilience in handling challenging situations. 7. Proficiency in using customer service software and tools. 8. High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
