Duties: Planning, organising and controlling production processes. Managing project and fabrication shops resource requirements. Preparation and control of shop budgets. Adherence to the Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Motivate, develop and coach factory supervisory team. Ensure adherence to company and customer policies and procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Production/Operations Management or equivalent. - Sound Technical/Engineering/Steel fabrication background and drawing interpretation. EXPERIENCE - 10 years in a Fabrication/Engineering environment, 5 years in a supervisory capacity in a 'Jobbing Shop' type steel fabrication environment with a solid track record in people management. - Sound knowledge of Production Planning and Scheduling of Resources - Above average computer proficiency. - Microsoft Office Suite - ERP systems (e.g. Syspro or SAP) - Conflict handling - Confident and experienced engagement with Union shop stewards Should you not receive a response within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful
