Job Description - IT Field Service Technician

SUMMARY:
Looking for an energetic IT Field Service technician to assist clients in the East Rand Area POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, test, repair and service personal computers, servers, notebooks and related technical equipment
Configuring routers, switches, Access Points, Printers, and other related network equipment.
Provide onsite support and service of infrastructure at clients’ premises
Provide Remote support via TeamViewer/Any Desk
Service existing customers by analysing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

Basic Requirements

Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Read, Speak and Write)
Valid Code 08 Drivers license
Reliable Transport
Minimum 3 years’ experience as IT technician.
Grade 12

Experience in the following is required:

PC/laptop hardware components as well as troubleshooting them
Microsoft Operating Systems.
Microsoft Office Applications (especially Microsoft 365)
Install and Configure Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, 10 and 11)
Install and Configure Microsoft Office related software (Office Home & Business, Microsoft 365, etc.)
Setup basic network configurations (router with DHCP, DNS, NTP, Port Forwarding).
Basic troubleshooting of a network.
Install and setup IP printer and related tasks
