Operations Manager: Automotive Spares

SUMMARY:
Our client, a dealer of automotive parts, seeks a professional Operations Manager to co-ordinate and oversee the operations.  You will implement the right processes and practices across the organisation, which includes formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.

• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Familiar with business and financial principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Manage the production board.
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
• Manage and control the repairs and maintenance of the premises.
• Purchase materials for repairs and maintenance of the business premises.
• Manage, control and purchase tools required for production.
• Oversee workshop staff and handle staff related queries.
• Assist the organisations processes remain legally compliant.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Manage Security Officers.
• Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
