Job Description:
FirstRand is seeking a motivated and driven Call Center Assistant to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. This full-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. As a Call Center Assistant, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with their inquiries, resolving customer issues efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries and provide information about products and services. 2. Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner. 3. Documenting all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system. 4. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times. 5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of issues. 6. Adhering to call center scripts and guidelines to provide consistent and high-quality service. 7. Keeping up to date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center or customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to actively listen and empathize with customers. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. 4. Adaptability to handle a high volume of calls and work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Driven and motivated to achieve targets and provide excellent customer service.
