Chat Support Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Chat Support Officer to join our team at Clicks Group in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. As a Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers through online chat platforms, ensuring their queries are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers via chat to provide assistance and resolve issues in a timely manner - Identify and escalate any complex or unresolved customer issues to the appropriate department - Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay informed about company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers - Meet and exceed performance targets for customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates

Requirements: - 3 years of experience in customer support or a similar role - Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of the English language - Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Confidence in dealing with customers and addressing their needs - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills - Strategic planning abilities to effectively manage customer interactions - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in using chat support software and other relevant tools
