Contact Center Officer - Work from home

Job Description:

Sasfin Bank is seeking a Contact Center Officer to work from home in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This is a full-time entry-level position with the opportunity for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner. 2. Provide support and assistance to customers with account inquiries, transaction issues, and general banking questions. 3. Utilize negotiation skills to resolve customer complaints and issues. 4. Creatively problem-solve to meet customer needs and exceed expectations. 5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions. 6. Act as a resource for customers, providing information on products and services offered by the bank. 7. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and targets.

Requirements: 1. Resourceful and adaptable personality traits. 2. Strong negotiation skills and creativity in problem-solving. 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 5. Comfortable working independently from a remote location. 6. High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software. 8. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
