Job Description - Customer Care Manager

Job Description:


Kumba Iron Ore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Care Manager to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience in customer service management, the Customer Care Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our customers.


Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement customer care strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. 2. Manage a team of customer service representatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support. 3. Oversee the resolution of customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and drive operational efficiency. 5. Analyze customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 6. Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance the skills and performance of the customer care team. 7. Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of customer care initiatives. 8. Represent the company at customer meetings, events, and conferences to build relationships and promote brand loyalty.


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. - Proven experience in customer service management, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Independent and driven personality traits. - Proficiency in research and planning soft skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of CRM systems and customer service best practices.
