Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

Anglo American Platinum is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner. 2. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by accurately documenting and updating customer information. 3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective resolution of customer concerns. 4. Provide product information and pricing to customers as needed. 5. Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and understanding. 6. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. 7. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and provide feedback to improve customer service processes. 8. Assist in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures. 9. Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers. 10. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Driven and adaptable personality traits. 6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
