Job Description - Remote Customer Support Manager

Job Description:


Absa Group Limited is seeking a Remote Customer Support Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience in customer support management, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of remote customer support representatives to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of remote customer support representatives, providing ongoing training and support to ensure excellent customer service delivery - Develop and implement customer support policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency - Monitor and analyze customer support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement - Work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and provide timely resolutions - Act as a point of escalation for complex customer queries and complaints - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement - Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction - Collaborate with internal teams to implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business or a related field - Proven experience in customer support management, preferably in a remote work environment - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage a remote team effectively - Reliable and independent personality traits - Persuasion and project management soft skills - Proficiency in CRM software and other customer support tools - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
