Customer Support Officer

Job description:

Barloworld is seeking a Customer Support Officer to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As a full-time position at the Associate level, the ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a customer support role. We are looking for a confident and independent individual with excellent adaptability and people management skills.

Responsibilities: - Provide top-notch customer support via phone, email, and chat - Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently and effectively - Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive experience with our products and services - Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer concerns - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers - Assist in training new customer support team members

Requirements: - At least 2 years of experience in a customer support role - Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently - Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications - Knowledge of customer service best practices - A degree in a related field is preferred but not required
