Live Chat Assistant

Job Description:

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated and dedicated Live Chat Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As a Live Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat platforms. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through live chat to provide information, answer questions, and resolve issues. 2. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally. 3. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive customer experience. 4. Collaborate with team members to address customer needs and escalate complex issues when necessary. 5. Work closely with other departments to gather and relay relevant information to customers. 6. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2. At least 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 3. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers. 4. Excellent multitasking and time management skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online chat platforms. 7. Motivated and dedicated with a strong work ethic. 8. Cooperation and teamwork skills are essential.
