Live Chat Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Live Chat Associate to join our team at Anglo American Platinum in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through live chat communication channels. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to address inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues - Utilize strategic planning and research skills to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer needs - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Continuously improve knowledge of company products and services to better assist customers - Provide feedback to management on customer trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using live chat software and customer service platforms - Ability to think critically and problem solve in real-time situations - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strategic planning and research skills - A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
